The muskox is my favourite bovine species - and one of my favourite animals in general 🦬

There's a zoo not too far from my town where they breed them for preservation, so I've been fortunate to see them irl a few times.

I think it's more likely a subtle reference to Shiina from Oumagadoki Zoo. The parallels between Shigaraki and Shiina are abundant. Their designs alone are extremely similar, right down to attire, all black with a red cape.. also "Shi" / Shigaraki, Nana / "na"
