In 1933, Neurath et al showed the magnitude of distortion of  the projection. I recreated the original visualisation using alternative symbols from Gerd Arntz.

After Banettes started living near powerplants, some of them started having visible changes.
It's still quite malicious, but it now seems to understand human written language, and ways to distort it to annoy people online.
