Trying to replicate the artstyle I had during late 2017 - early 2018

My artstyle used to be way different. I don't remember much about it apart from the fact that I always draw another thin line inside the lineart

I still have my old drawings on my pc, I should post it later

Gestalt characters of recollection
1. The main character
Name Yusuke Sakai
Height 176 cm
Body shape: Thin type
Blood type O +
He has a habit of thinking too much about his personality. He is good at household chores in general, but he is not careful.

Fun to mention! I made this Charlie design inspired by her game sprite, and this description of her in the book: "her round face looked almost cheerful. Charlie always looked like she was about to smile. Her brown eyes wide and sparkling, her thin mouth ready to curve up"

like this dude shows up in a ufo at the beginning of the light of destruction arc and it's an invading voice from space and they all have gray rounded heads and thin bodies and you're tryna tell me this isn't just a grays reference come on

Film of 2021 - THE MITCHELLS VS THE MACHINES [2021]

A bit hampered by a finale stretched thin, lacklustre performances (Andre's not-Bezos and Katie's brother) and some cringey humor. But looks fantastic and exciting to see Sony Imageworks continue to push the boundaries.

“They're all lying to you，Azhdaha.”
“There won't be a dragon, thin and beautiful, with colorful clouds on he's tail.”

The Pressure Sensitivity can be a factor. It helps to create weight to the lines as example- the more pressure, the thicker and darker the line becomes, light pressure is thin and lighter. My older works had thin lines where now my lines are thicker. here's an examples.

pro tip: for rendering thicker clothing materials, run a soft thin line of highlights/shades along the seamlines. it's a bit tricky to get the hang of, but it adds a lot of dimension!
