I made Nadel's hair shorter in this then I have in other in game splash images, but it matches her walking animation in game.

While running skips this, walking has extra code to prepare for which frame to use later.
Fact is, Running has 4 frames of animation and Walking has 6 frames (Sonic 1), each with 4 angled variants, so the idea is to skip to the correct angle and frame.
