The worst of our fears has been confirmed. Kevin Conroy has passed away. I hoped it was only a bad rumor but it was true. This somehow hits harder cuz the last months I have been replaying the Batman Arkham games he masterfully voiced.

I was 5 when Batman: The Animated Series debuted in 1992. Kevin Conroy brought Batman to life in a whole new way. It changed the way I saw the character and defined the way I read the character's comic books to this very day. He will always be my Batman.

I can’t believe he’s really gone. Kevin has been my Batman for basically my entire life. Ever since I got my very first BTAS DVD he has been Batman to me. From the DCAU to the Arkhamverse. He’s been with me from my darkest times to the best times. Goodbye Batman.

3 years later, during the Joker War, Bao's neighbor was lit on fire by the Clowns rampaging Gotham. Enraged by seeing Batman had broken his promise to bring Joker to justice and failed to protect Bao's community, Bao decided to take matter into his own hands as Clownhunter.

Bao is a teenager from The Gotham Narrows. His parents were killed by the Joker in their family restaurant. He looked up to Batman after he consoled him & promised him Joker would face justice for the murder of Bao's parents, giving him a batarang as a symbol of that promise.
