But, don't take that as any disrespect to Karate Champ. I did a few of years of Karate myself, I was impressed at how these cartoon-y looking characters were doing real formal karate moves that I could recognize. And the gameplay was solid. (Love the dual-stick controls too.) 👍

how i colour!! (an informal tutorial ft. hyunjin?)
first step if i am using a reference is to eye drop the basic colours and shading and then fill it in. if i think the colours look too muddy/dislike them i will usually make them more saturated and/or add more orange/red/purple.
