These are also #PokemonScarletViolet mons that I believe came from reworked protos. however the connections here are much more loose. I’ve also seen people suggest other/more designs that also could have been used but I think there’s barley a connection(like popplio & Cruz🙅🏼♂️🙈)
I am 100% convinced that the Pokémon designers for #PokemonScarletViolet used at least these 4 #betapokemon (proto)as inspiration & reworked them into these final versions we got in Gen9.I also added my artwork of them just to see what they could’ve looked like with official art
Recycle your "unused content"! What doesn't work today could always work tomorrow.
Both art is 🔥 but one was from a short story that didn't see the light of day.
The scene on the left, and its characters, were all taken and reworked into the 6 issues of Wretches (2019-20).
