Hey Mooties,

I generally manipulate layers for skin (except oil or pastel).

Base colour + multiply = saturation for dark areas. White + overlay = highlights

Today I tested using colours like how make up is applied.. that contouring thing.

Hit or miss?

I made a color palette from all of my recent drawings and used it to color this portrait of Imogen! ✨ I used some Blend Mode layers and changed the opacity but I didn't change the colours in any way 😁

Dark, muted colours are great; she loves warm browns! But oh boy, do white cat hairs show up on those colours; they are just... everywhere.
