Hyth and other close friends call him Lenny, Hades just calls him Len
lastly, the heart patches on their clothes:
both of them have heart-shaped patches sewn on their chest, on the same side as each other. len's is pink, while rin's is light blue and the hears is broken. this ties in with the next point! ++

both of them wear hairclips in the shape of syringes, though they wear them on the opposite side as one another, and rin's is light blue, while len's is pink (to pick up each other's color)

rin's outfit features two sad faces (one on her neck/chest thing, i dont . know what it's called) and one on her belt. these little faces are missing the same eye as her eyepatch placement. similar faces appear on len's design as well, although++
through some details!! first:
the eyes and eyepatches!
rin's eyes are heart-shaped and her eyepatch has a cross on it, while len's eyes are cross-shaped and his eyepatch features a heart! the eyepatches are also on the opposite eye as each other! ++
i tend to draw len taller than rin, and it's particularly noticeable in my rinlen art! i just think it's fitting (i see rin as the more enthusiastic/easily excited of the two, and i usually translate that into making a character shorter) and i just . like it more :]

regardless of the au/situation, because i think she looks pretty :] i also give them different trademark scars, rin usually has one (or a bandaid) over her nose, while len has a few scars over his mouth. these are references to my best friend and myself!++
