I sometimes question how they’d even introduce the Freedom Fighters into IDW.

I mean, will Sonic even remember them considering that IDW is basically a renewed universe? Will they *not* have the same memories? What about their backstories?

he has shown sometimes a manipulative side to him in archie, sonic x and IDW (archie isn't canon but, yknow)

honestly it's a bit ambiguous in IDW but I like seing it as just him doing wrong things because "at least the result will be good" kinda!
