今日は「駅弁記念日」です！
1885年の今日に開業した日本鉄道東北線の宇都宮駅で、日本初の駅弁が発売されました。
黒ゴマをまぶした梅干入りの握り飯2個とたくあん2切れを竹の皮に包んだもので、値段は5銭（約1,000円）と当時としては高かったらしい。
