2011vs2019! I don’t have anything from 2009 available so here is *almost* a decade of improvement! I used to always cover the “other” eye and hands were not an option. I can’t believe how much I’ve improved!

I started the year Unsure of my Cell Shading and ended it with Round bellies, Freckles, blushes, and went all in on My Bright colouring 😂

there were ups and downs but I made a lot of stuff this year! and I think I'm a much better painter than I was in January.

it's sometimes hard to tell if I've made any progress or if I'm actually improving or if my style has just changed. Going through old art tells me where I've been and helps me see what I still need to improve on

2009 vs 2019
It was bad going back to my old DA account to get this.
I guess I'm grateful it's not 2011 vs 2021 since I drew like garbage then. 2009 was pre-art school so I was fairly decent.
I definitely readopted my early style in recent years.

I feel like I should have learned a lot more since I first tried digital art back in 2009, but hopefully the next update in 2029 will be better :D

the first one may be from before 2009, (best guess is at age 7) it doesn’t have a date, but regardless I was really happy to see this improvement ^^ it was also nice to reinterpret the view in my younger self’s mind ^^ onwards to 2020!!
