What I loved most about this piece was the framing of the character—the use of the voluminous hair at the top of the frame, and the kimono & kumo clouds at the bottom was very creative and effective! Well done ^o^

Loving the more realistic render of my Azuki in this submission! I can tell a lot of thought & effort went into the facial expression of the character, and I appreciate the artist’s stylistic interpretation of the original Azuki piece.

The aquatic tones and bubbly interpretation of the original fireflies very well complimented the blue hues of the original Azuki in my opinion! I thought ethereal nature of the blade itself was quite a nice touch, as well as the translucent hair—well done.

The demeanor, pose and orientation of her kimono are all in sync in bringing out a battle-ready portrayal of the Azuki—well done. The highlight for me in this wonderful piece however is the flowers; I love their color and how well they define the Azuki.

Love the ornamentation of the Azuki, it definitely reflects the wealthy nature you would expect of Goddess! My favorite aspects include how the sword is portrayed through the translucent character, as well as the attention to detail for the jewelry—well done.

A very beautiful rendition of the Spirit Azuki! I thought the lights and darks in this piece were very well done, with personal highlights for me being the blade’s fade to darkness, the crackling unsheathing, the illuminated eye & glowing contour—well done!

Wonderful depiction of my Azuki! I must say there were 4 highlight aspects in this piece for me: the rendering, the pose, the shine of the sword and the swirling clouds of color that gave off the impression she was a master of the elements—well done.

While the Azuki herself is masterfully drawn, what caught my attention was the colors that emanated from the unsheathing of the sword—encompassing the color wheel and providing a sense of universality. Also loved the orientation of the piece!

A cute derivative of my Azuki, this pondering youngster had me pondering what to write! Aside from the wonderful line art, my favorite aspect is how her dimensions—be it the sword, body or head—are perfectly sized. The aloof hair strand is a nice touch!
