Likewise, David Cain isn't an all too great antagonist either as he spends the entire series being this loyal soldier, but you get those hints of the old David. But never does he truly shine as he did in the prior universe. He has no real personality outside his new edgy costume.

fuuta is seen yelling at es/his victim, not physically hurting them. this hints towards the fact that fuuta's words caused the death of his victim (they likely committed suicide). he stands above them, symbolizing how he felt superior to them from a moral standpoint.
