He's a nature based chimera (I did a retcon of him) and was based off honey mushrooms, honey, hives, bees and samurais.

Hive has a lot of dignity and honour when fighting and hates sneaky moves.

Pretty much slowly making my way through the entire cast. One thing I’ve noticed while doing this is that they all have super cool hair. It’s definitely a requirement to be a samsho character. Anyway, got Genjuro for today.

My favorite settings are ones that take Tolkien’s tropes and give them twists. I need to have elves and dwarves, but love it if they are samurais or sophisticated cannibals or some such.

Fateforge is a great setting, involving all of the D&D classics, but making them their own

Then I add in a background and we’ve got a completed Sogetsu from Also because of the multiply layers I have to make sure the background doesn’t overlap any of my colors. So I use the magic wand tool to select any background areas on my ink layer before coloring.
