Faust was really good, even before XRD hit. And in XRD, the trend continued. His amazing neutral control combined with his great pressure resulted in a solid character who remained solid all throughout XRD's lifespan. (Especially considering they buffed him...)
Fighting game breakdown once again!
I've been thinking a lot about those characters that stay good all throughout a game's lifespan (Faust in XRD, Litchi in BB, etc.), usually sticking around A and/or S tier even after nerfs. Why is this?
