Doodle - Lapis Lazuli from Steven Universe

I had a lot of fun making it, I think it helped me improve a little bit on my expressions!

I noticed that I gotta improve my anatomy. I'll work on it!

Well I would say yes and no, I'm fairly ok with it but I need improvement on perspective, I want to draw better/more organic poses, and I want to improve on anatomy. :P

Going back to basics for a bit, just realized I never really learned the body anatomy.

And thanks again for the help with this work!

Quick pencil study. Love the foreshortening and simplicity of their anatomy.

Over the years I’ve really tried to improve my human (mostly women lmao) anatomy. I’d like to think I’ve improved but I don’t know what style I’m exactly looking for

After thinking about it, I think i'm gonna try and focus my art to reaching these sizes primarily this year rather than aiming to make the usual biggos.

I'm not giving up big fats completely, just toning it down for a while. Plus smaller frames will help me improve on anatomy.

looking through my files and found some old study notes on male anatomy. it’s super rough and not 100% accurate by any means (esp the muscles 💀), but just some patterns i have found while attempting to draw men 🕺🏻
