Watched Baby Blood (1990) and it was f#cking great! an unapologetic blood spattered French horror comedy. Yanka gets her fetus possessed by a primordial evil parasite (voiced by Gary Oldman in the dub) and forces the mother into becoming a blood craving murderer. Great fun!👍
A reason why Benizakura was so fun when i first watched is not only 'cause I went into Gintama blindly, but also 'cause I had low expectations in terms of action, since I always knew it to be comedy.
Yagyu/Fuyo arc type of seriousness is the max I expected, but not beyond that.
