@Ixvenderphantom My critique for you is you need to add more shadows and define shapes that can blend into the skintone! Be less afraid of using darker colors even if your art is mainly light, you can still use mid range tones! I hope this helps!
@Lixue_2 1st I BLOCK OUT ALL THE EXCESS DETAILS AND PAINT THE MAIN DARKEST SHADOW AND TIP TO USE MORE DARKER AND A BIT OF HUE TO CREATE MORE CONTRADT BETWEEN THE SHADOW , BASE AND HIHLIGHT
2nd THEN U CHOOSE A BID LIGHTER COLOR AND PAINT THE BLOCKS OF HAIR AND ADD SMALL STRANDS OF HAIR…
From Art Fight last year is another Revenge running very close to the wire. This is Celery for Mountain Cat who's design I /adore/. With hindsight I should have used the darker green instead of the white for line separation but I was on full blown panic mode by that point

Posting all those bird people paintings the other day made me want to paint another swan maiden, so here she is!

The shading is good for both pieces but maybe try adding darker background for the first piece for mysteriousness ? (And make the eyes glow)
The second piece is good too but (my opinion) the eye should be revealed more so a illusion of the eye(..)
