Poor Diddy Kong a long time ago couldn't seem to decide the color of his eyes.
DKC 1-3 (Black), DK64-DKR (Blue), Donkey Konga-Present (Black again), but the you every Smash game since Brawl where his eyes are brown.
Not to mention some other random minor changes made to him...

Donkey Kong's Banana Hoard has changed over the years. What started out as a mere pile in Donkey Kong Country became multiple piles in the GBA port. By the time DKC Returns came out, the Kongs had so many bananas that they flooded out of the cave entrance.

For the best SNES games, never forget the GOATs. Mega Man X, Kirby Super Star, Super Metroid and Demon's Crest. If I had more room, I'd include Mario World, The DKC Trilogy and MMX2/MM7. The SNES had TOO MANY bangers.

Red balloons are worth one life in Donkey Kong games, with green two and blue three. Another was almost added in DKC Returns. Concept art shows yellow balloons worth SEVEN. In the game, they're replaced with seven individual reds, but they remain on Cranky's tin roof!

Shoutouts to the Unreleased Lobo Fighting game for SNES and Sega Genesis By Ocean. It was finished but didn't see a full release, though both versions eventually leaked online. It used Pre Rendered Graphics similar to Killer Instinct and DKC, and looks quite good for 16 bit
