Finally I was able to beat the game and I just want to say that it became my favorite game by far, I absolutely loved everything, the story, characters, graphics, everything was incredible about this game. #Eastward #FANART @eastwardgame @pixpilgames @ChucklefishLTD

Monster Crown, a game I've been covering since 2018 also released this year for Nintendo Switch & PC. It's a great pick if you like retro graphics, darker stories, and learning new battle mechanics. It also has a unique breeding system you can experiment with a lot!
My favourite C64 Arcade Conversions – No.16
Commando
Elite, 1985
Instantly addictive with nice graphics, an amazing Rob Hubbard soundtrack & ace gameplay, Commando could’ve been the perfect arcade conversion – if only it had another 5 levels!
My favourite C64 Arcade Conversions – No.17
Yie Ar Kung Fu
Imagine
1985
Another Imagine release, Yie Ar Kung Fu isn't perfect, but it's a sound conversion of the all-action original. Nice colourful graphics, ace music & plenty of enjoyable, frantic arcade fighting.
QRT with your first Sonic game.
I know this game is memed a lot for its graphics, voice acting, controls, bugs, and notoriously hated campaign (Big the Cat), but I seriously still love this game. Kept me around for so many hours. From the campaigns to the Chao garden. https://t.co/scd97QyWcL
I was watching Space Dandy, and I asked myself, why was this anime not popular?! Space Dandy is hilarious and has awesome animation/graphics, it perfect if you like adult humor, sci-fi adventures, and fashionable; egotistical main characters. #spacedandy #anime #manga #animation
My Favourite Arcade Games of 1989 – No.1
Final Fight
Originally a sequel to Street Fighter, Final Fight changed direction following Double Dragon’s success. A brilliant brawler with fantastic graphics, funky tunes & exciting gameplay. One of the very best examples of the genre.
My Favourite Arcade Games of 1989 – No.6
S.C.I
Tony & Ray return in this superb sequel. Better graphics, new cars, weather changes, the ability to fire at offending vehicles, and Karen - a new assistant. Not overly different from Chase HQ, but still massive amounts of fun.

My Favourite Arcade Games of 1988 – No.1
Chase HQ
80s TV was cop show crazy, so combining the thrills of a high speed police chase with an Out Run like videogame was a fab idea. Nice graphics, cool speech, lots of humour & addictive gameplay make this a fantastic race & chaser.
are we ready for the same game again, kids?
similar graphics, swapped models, the same battle system we've had for 20 years?
yes?
good https://t.co/gnPqk1QG7R
Mod Sasami stepped up and made us some lovely graphics, so 84 years later, here's the results of the Interest Check, at long last! #tenchimuyo
My Favourite Arcade Games of 1988 – No.6
Splatterhouse
Friday the 13th, Hellraiser, The Evil Dead, etc – horror movies were big in the 80s, so it was only a matter of time before someone put games and gore together. Gruesome graphics, spooky sound & grisly gameplay. Great fun.
@sai2exe Hello hello, I'm Mel and I like to draw! Lots of things, actually! Illustrations, magical items, twitch graphics, and even merch art! I take commissions, and stream my work process on twitch!
