I really like a lot of the ideas here. The character arcs and themes are great.

The pacing and execution weren't the greatest, especially in the middle two episodes.
A good show, but far from perfect.

So glad ending didn't pull a Jedi Fallen Order.

It's crazy how much letting a director actually direct improves the watchability of a movie. This is a Raimi film through and through and is super enjoyable, despite suffering some pacing issues. I don't think the plot is that great, but it's a very fun watch.

1. Plot points and scenes on 3.5x5" cards. Shuffle and edit, doodle thumbnails etc.
2. Type first draft in MS Word, look for typos etc.
3. Paste script into comics pages in Adobe Illustrator, see how it affects pacing, page turns, and available space for art.

So I watched yesterday Ice Queendom....and um....ehhhh LOL. This is a pro studio and yet it made a very noobish mistake: Bad Pacing. The 3 episodes are an exposition dump of World Building and characters that hardly make sense unless you are a RWBY fan.... NGL it was SUPER rushed

*exhales* - well, that's a wrap on a 6k short story that really fought me the whole way, from initial plot to overall themes to pacing to you name it.

BUT I think it ended up okay. Sometimes these bastards don't come quietly. Sometimes those are the ones I love the most.

Was reminded of TMNT: The Last Ronin after playing Shredder's Revenger, and thought of how I wish I never saw the original art for the series by Andy Kuhn, because the new art doesn't work for me at all. Pacing, shot composition, details. It's a shame.

31. Obi-Wan Kenobi (TV Series) - 8.5/10

Ewan McGregor once again kills it. The show suffers from being extended from movie length but the last two episodes were incredible and worth the jank pacing of the first four. Overall, it delivered.

I finished season 2 of The Rising Of The Shield Hero.

Tbh, the anime isn't really all that bad. I personally find the story to be good, but i found the writting and the pacing isn't as well constructed like season 1.

It's a good season, but not as good as the first one.
