the "rough sketch" doesn't look "rough", because for my art process, i don't really do an actual rough sketch to draw over
my "sketches" are drawn in vector layers with the intent of already being the lineart (after further clean up)

There were some questions about the work process, so I summarized it lightly. It is based on the assumption that you have seen the archive, so the explanation is small.
@Ratuno_Aoi Thank you! The painting process just takes a little time. I start by placing clusters of hair as faces. Then I draw in the flow with a hairbrush. I add a bright color on top with the same hairbrush. Finally, I add shadows using a multiply layer.
