Actually, I did something similar to this with one of my OCs as well,where I basically retcon something about them.I adopted Lilly from a buddy that didn't wanted her awhile back who was suppose to be a lover of music and flowers and I basically scrap that and made her a gamer❤️

Just wanted to remind everyone that Ned was not the Hobgoblin, he was never meant to be the Hobgoblin, the reveal was against the wishes of Hobgoblin's creator and subsequently retconned by him. Ned was just put in the costume once to take the fall.
