Was inspired by @micalnoelson’s use of pink, so I’ve been playing around today. I cut up & reassembled over 50 unique sections from another piece I made, then edited the colors.

Now that the game is in English, thanks to the release of the remake, it's even more obvious to me that Sakura Wars took a lot of ideas from Doukyuusei. The creators often quote Tokimeki as an inspiration but the ADV sections in SW are basically a condensed version of Doukyuusei.

@CondiNonFiction I usually draw the basic Hairline and determine how to draw the strands of hair based on directions, but another thing that has helped me a lot is dividing the hair in large sections and then drawing the sinfle strands :D
