There's no such thing as bad character design. Doesn't matter if they're complex or simple. All characters have those few details & traits that help define them to be notable amongst all the others (including color scheme). Mind the design overlaps that may happen.

You can take as much time as you need to over-analyze a situation. Days, weeks, months, or even years. Trying to justify what could have happened instead. But, that still won't change what already passed. You need to keep moving forward, not looking back~

Art tip: The quickest way to improve is madly fall in love with a character. You improve with each piece AND you have fun!
