I think the eyes in this piece truly defined the direction of the overall composition; with a bold glare, I perceived the movements of the Azuki and her hair as being ready for confrontation. The color selection added to this feeling as well!

I really admire the different direction that was taken with this rendition of my Azuki, depicting her as an ancient being. The color selection really suited the atmosphere of this piece, and I applaud the attention to detail all over!

Absolutely love the direction taken with this derivative! Illustrated in Melloow’s signature style, my favorite aspects include the juxtaposing butterflies, the glow of her eyes as well as the overall “cool” atmosphere of the piece—well done!
