I have little experience with the Metroidvania genre but this game surprised me with how well crafted the game was with its mechanics and the locations that you explore. This was my highlight for 2019.

Some days before finishing Automata, I took some of my time for watch some gameplay about NieR (Gestalt/Replicant) and understand a little more about its lore.

The Turoń was a traditional folk costume which originated from Polish folklore. A person dressed as a Turoń would visit households during Christmas and carnival celebrations and accompanied by carolers would dance and play tricks on the locals.
