4 - colouring
i'll make the base white the colour most used on the oc, and then using the clip to layer below i can just add layers for new colours and they won't go beyond my base colour layer. i use the default turnip pen at various sizes for colours + markings

Inspirations are of the "lucky cat" (colors/markings), "forked tail cat" (general attitude/tail) and an Oni (horns and teeth).

Another artist that I recommend is ! Very cute style and clear refsheets!
3 view refs are the most clear but 2 views are a minimum. If your character has a specific way that their muzzle markings or on the side flows, I really recommend adding a sideview/headshot
