These sprites, while impressive, don't do a great job of conveying the scale of these machines. The flying fortress "Vahrstor" below comprises an entire level of the game, requiring the game's screen to dramatically pan over it's bulk. Would KILL for an art book. ⤵️

Back to experimenting with speeding up my process.
I made this one to try @ sakonlieur grayscale technique but it didn't work for me (maybe this piece was too small? idk)
So I tried @ Chrissabug hard light shading method and it worked!
