With Iru and Mira DLC, Sumika is the only person left from the Suguri series not in 100% OJ. Since there are alot more people in other OJ series, all the new DLC will focus on them instead. Sumika was handed a death sentence, and I'm left with a despair that grew out of hope.

i think that's because at least in my own life i deal with feeling helpless to the many depressing problems in my own mind and world. i wanted to make a place where small acts of kindness add up to a monstrous wave of hope. the effort to be kind is rewarded in my barovia.

i don't have it in my tiny bird heart to make a truly horrifying story- my version of barovia leaned more on the occasional spooky scene, the ever pervasive feeling of gloom, tiny moments of beauty and the overall sensation that dang, this place is a bummer. it needed hope.
