Kirby Super Star has such a unique visual design, most of it is just regularly-drawn sprites but a good chunk of the game, from backgrounds to even level tiles, seems to have been made with pre-rendered models, like Donkey Kong Country. It's an interesting mixture
Don't mind me just posting an insanely zoomed crop of a process test to just establish that me obsessively losing my mind for weeks had a point, and the contrast between fully rendered & half finished elements proves it was all worth it.

I also want to point out I’m changing the brush I use on sketches and flat options to a more sketchier brush. Rendered options I already use this brush. Example being the very last one shown below.(Ex being the flat style)
