I feel ive gotten more used to using my tablet over the year, I might try this water color esq. method again later but im happy with the techniques im using now
@artoninternet I used to work and paint on wood. These days, I use a mix of hand drawn and collage techniques. For me, it's important to keep an instinctive style, quite brutal. I need to share my mistakes, my fears with a pen, even if it's digital. Still hoping for my first sell this year.

The technique here is a combination of traditional painting and 3D art. The old and the new. The background is painted similar to the original painting with many dots and textures. The foreground is 3D but with a twisted perspective. Flat, a way to combine the 2 techniques.

@KatalystArts Thanks for the share! Throughout the year I've been making fanart which I'm proud/not proud of. I'm proud because I've learned a lot of different techniques and been experimenting with different styles but at the cost of less original stuff which makes me sad too...
