one of my fav parts of working on DC with are all the bg motifs she puts in the bg to emphasize jokes and play with tone and such. For example: the fancy filigree here to highlight juniper's general anxiety.

Boruto and Susano(God of Japan) have a lot in common. So I think Boruto is the character who got the motif from Susano.
Boruto is Susano. Sarada is Amateras. And Mitsuki is Tsukuyomi.

Science falls under a huge umbrella, so I adopted the familiar lab equipment imagery, along with micro-macro scale motifs, ie. The blades are based on the elementary particles of the universe.

Working up PKL-S' design a little & more rendering practice.
Added a bit more detail in the joints mostly. Also added segments on the pot/skirt thing, so that when she runs the panels flip up & don't hinder her movement. I really like the flowerpot motif, but it must make sense.
