What most people get wrong about anime is the assumption that it's a genre rather than another country's animation. Currently the harem genre is popular, so that's getting more attention than say an ultra violent series like Blade of the Immortal, or a space opera like LOGH.

Result of my little experiment: when using her stretchy arm, Saki now pinpoints a location based on position and directional input, and the arm stays anchored toward those coordinates even while she continues moving. It's such an improvement over the original static animation.
