It's inspired by the Naga...and this is what we could've gotten but maybe they thought she wouldn't be able to sell as much merchandise so they literally defanged her 😓 It's sad because I can still recognize the naga design from Thai myths in the original concept art

I love how all of Austin’s characters are so incorporated in his brand and merchandise. The highly saturated colors work so well together for his style! Meiyu stood out in particular to me because of the swooshy hair.
