Top left is around my line quality for boards, but it's usually more simplified than this. Top right are my roughs for illustrations. From that point on, it's picking mediums/software/brushes that will get what I want. Rotate the canvas and utilize smoothing options if able.

Fun behind-the-scenes fact: Princess Kat's character design was based on ancient Egyptian art of cats. Her collar is a simplified version of the kind of collars the Egyptian cats wore.

I also noticed some of them had markings on their forehead, hence Kat's forehead thing.
