Mermay 28 - As I’ve done with prior mermays, at the end of the month I draw my mer-family. This is my daughter as a Betta fish. She recently got a new one for her room, so it seemed to be the obvious choice. 🧜‍♀️

Iiiiit’s Mermay! Had to do a few drawings as I enjoyed myself last year. Have a hag fish mermaid. I did one last year but I felt I didn’t get the mouth quite right, so I've tried for a more ‘lacks lower teeth’. I do love hag fish, even if not true fish.
