i got inspired by this one lonely grave in the back go a graveyard that had yellow moss/mold/fungus growing on it. i learned a bit about doing more backgrounds but i’ve still got more to learn!! i loved playing w the texture

I think these scattered orange-brown spots are the 'uredinia' of a Puccinia species: stage II in the rust fungus's life cycle.

(A single species of rust fungus can produce up to FIVE different spore types. When I first heard this I was like 🤯.)
