If you can get past the initial shock of "lol, so random," Hylics 2 is a great example of visual design consistency within a surrealist art direction. The soundtrack is fantastic, too.

Lighting and humans are not my strong suit, but I was really proud of how these ones came together! I was able to practice some semblance of consistency that I wish I didn’t need validation to be proud of. 👉🏻👈🏻😅 Always still working tho!

Here are some more views. I worked from scenes in the anime and the blueprints shown in Episode 2. I had trouble figuring out some areas as well. Because all the scenes were hand-drawn, there was no consistency. But I think this is as good as it will get.
