I utilize free to use pose sketches instead of 3d models or photos thought. Initially I trace the original lines so that I can understand what angles I need for things to be appealing/perspective to be convincing. But after that I redo all the lines into my style.

Liefeld is just incapable of drawing action scenes. The characters just kind of float around in front of each other because he can't draw convincing hits.
