@SpiderS0ul I've never thought about it until yesterday, when I read issues #39, #40 and #41 of "Peter Parker: Spider-Man", which had such a surprising and very well done Doc Ock in them. Add that to the fact that I'm currently at my billionth rewatch of "The Office", and there you go!
Personally speaking, I think a major issue with the Spider-Man books is that they kind of put way too much focus on the super hero side of stuff, and kind of pushes Peter and MJ off to the side for long stretches, when what they really need to do is invert that.
After seeing the entirety of Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon, I can only think of a few good things it did.
*Making Harry Osborn Venom.
*Course correcting hard with Doc Ock.
*Evil AU Spider-Man voiced by Christopher Daniel Barnes.
