My summary of 2021~
This year I was too rushy; although I feel fine having done art over the months in spite of my routine.

I hope next year to keep drawing and be around more often.

It feels like I barely painted anything this year, and I'm honestly not satisfied with most of it. But I still managed to create some of my favourite pieces among that, and I hope that seeing my shortcomings so clearly only means I'm one step closer to improving on them in 2022.

I was inspired by Karen Goines beautiful Copic portraits to take up drawing again a few years ago. I have periodically drawn portraits of her throughout those years. I’m now using and an iPad. Hopefully they’re improving.

Jan 2021 vs Dec 2021
Didn’t have a ton of time to focus on improving this year, but I think I still had some improvement nonetheless!!
I did a lot of character refs over the year, and I feel I got better at drawing characters less stiff
