@thijs Additionally, the reason people use mp4 is their encodings for mov and mkv are broken is subtle ways. The mov encodings are difficult to edit and can't seek. The mkv is seemingly unknown to everything except VLC so you have to waste time converting to mp4 anyway.

Pixelart nerd alert, but I love looking at sprites from the same generation to see how the pixel artist is getting more comfortable working in 16 bit between RS (top row) and FRLG (Bottom row) The differences are subtle, but I think it shows a lot of improvement in between games
Study of @TFiddlerArt boy Ogin. Took a screen from your process right before you went to color there haha. Probably the most important thing that (I think) I learned from it was that shading is done much lighter then I thought it was, and a lot of transitions are very very subtle

I'm considering doing a softer style for my #RWBY fancomic (right), it's subtle so you might not see it but I want to know what looks better.
I grabbed a paper texture off google images and overlayed it on the archen and I actually really like the subtle texture it adds (i'll have to account for the darkening of course)
