Some character design tips: never start with what first comes up in your mind. explore different hair styles, outfits, colours, etc before you choose "the best one". Also do some research/think on what you are creating before you launch into it.

Painted this with water colours, white gel pen, white paint, and glitter glue (sadly the effect can't be seen on a photo, but is very visible irl)
