Experimenting. I’m trying to figure out a consistent style before I start work on my next planned projects. I think I’m gonna reuse the lineart but try different colouring styles and see how it goes. I like these results overall, but it took me a lot longer than I’d like 🧐

Back to an animator and a great one : Akemi Hayashi who came to Gainax around 2002 on Mahoro/Abenobashi series.
She was already a big thing having worked extensively on Utena (1997) & Fruit Basket (2001). She will stay close to Gainax working on the big projects...
