+The only times where Horus seemed amused or playful despite Seth being "upset" are usually when Seth's sadness isn't that serious (just his usual mid-combat annoyance lol,) and when Horus is impressed with Seth's strength and powers.++
+Then we have chapter 71-72, which is entirely about the trial, Seth's internal struggles, and Horus' intervention. At seeing Seth's distress, Horus immediately understands that he's in pain, and even knows EXACTLY how to comfort Seth.++
+Furthermore, in the 3rd trial, in order to protect Seth, Horus put himself in harms way and threatened Anubis, knowing it could get him killed. This was done in order to try and get Seth to forfeit and not use the cursed weapon,++
+And yet, despite not actually being conscious during the act AND was almost a victim of Setn, Horus takes full accountabilty for it, and understands that no matter the reason and circumstance, he had still hurt Seth, and no reason or excuse could change that.++
+Also this scene is so genuinely terrifying; Seth is so distraught at the thought of Anubis dying and breaks down crying, and it's almost as if Osiris is looking down at Seth's sadness and realising how EASY it is to manipulate Seth. It's such a distant and cold expression.++
+Even laughing at his question. We see this same amusement when Osiris speaks of the reasons of Nephthys' affair, knowing that this would be a fear that lasted a lifetime for Seth. He doesn't empathise with Seth's confusion or hurt at all and finds happiness in Seth's weaknesses.
+Then, in chapter 32, we see the continuation of this scene, where it's shown by their expressions again that Seth - while upset and scared - is completely ignored by Osiris. What's worse is that this is Seth's memories; despite Seth being pinned down by HORUS in that scene,++
+In chapter 10 as well, despite how shaken and angry Seth looks, Osiris fully ignores him and has such a tender expression on his face. Then, he makes his move on Seth, completely disregarding all of Seth's feelings and reactions. All he cares about is his own desires.++

I love that Horus' and Osiris' reactions are always so different. Horus' expressions often match Seth's in times of distress, while Osiris is always uncaring or amused, even right from the court scene where Horus++

Chapter 72 of ENNEAD is my favourite by far; the way Horus protected Seth in front of all the other gods was so admirable, and it had such a huge impact on Seth too. Also the way Horus gently held Seth + laid him down was so soft...(˃ ⌑ ˂ഃ )
