Fun critters at your service!
I give you

Rabbit (they’re Lagomorphs and not rodents! I challenge you with their funky face shapes) (he/him)
Oryx! BIG on the horns with him <3 (he/him)
And a brown hyena! I’ve never seen another one actually (they/she)

Day 26 of Daily Art Posts: this was one of the first monster boys I drew. I'd recently seen The Shape of Water and I was all aboard the Fish Boy Train (and I never got off)

Few greater joys for me than drawing a random shape and inking over it to bring it to life

Mina Mongoose as the Voice Of The Revolution is a concept I feel is underutilised, so we’re heading right into punk rock territory, baby.
Also I love the idea of her with a different body shape—longer body, shorter legs, befitting her species!

These are all compositions where I used the spiral to guide my sketch, and I say "guide" because as you can see, I'm not following it literally, but where I could I would have directional lines either roughly or literally follow the spiral shape to lead towards my focus.

With the more detailed sketch, I personally tend to keep my cats quite angular, mostly made up of triangles and squares

Whereas with ponies, rounder shapes and edges are used for a more bouncy, less fluffy shape

I realized that both of my new games don't have gentle and kind bois. THAT IS A GREAT SIN!!!
So I added them huehue
I fully embrace my problem with drawing and liking characters with the same personality and face shape.
Gentle and kind bois bring me happiness.

One of the true modern tragedies is that I dress like Jesse Pinkman which covers up that I'm shaped like Baiken guilty gear

Long hair... still have to decide what the final shape I want to give Cara's long hair (as a variation). Still working on... here some recent experiments!
