Details! I don’t think I’ve ever spent this long on a painting before, getting all the tiny areas as clean as possible within a reasonable time :’’) Thank god for deadlines, because without it I would probably have spent another 20 hours painting individual hair strands

I used separate layers for each character, and color picked from reference. This base color layer is for selecting areas on next step. for example I would select red on Mym's armor, and color brights/shades on the layer on top of it(with layer clipping). I try to keep it simple.

I mostly used 2 tools: real pencil for sketch & line art, and lasso fill for coloring, erasing & filling in blocks. by blocking-in areas, it helps you focus on key points of the drawing and avoid confusion on overlapping parts. This is where you can find lasso fill. I use it alot

She just goes by "DemiDaughter" in the files. lol I imagine her as Demiurge and Oreana's daughter Design isn't final. She may change in the future. Wanted them to have 4 daughters representing/ruling the 4 cardinal directions & 4 sons that would rule the intercardinal areas.
