From the Illustrated Edition of Dune for its 50th Anniversary.
These were done by Sam Weber (I am.. a big fan of that artist. Totally not fan girling atm)
I hope I can find a copy of it here since the movie will make it popular.
@troubledmn Dune always struck me as a vibrant and colorful world that felt alien and other. It's ok if they want to tell a bleak story, but it feels a little too on the nose to have a Pink Floyd cover and playing it off earnestly 😒
@MoveablePress \o/
I must now consume more spice* before I see this movie
*Dune stuff I've rewatched, reread & replayed over the years
(I had this in my nick years ago but changed it, NOW IT'S BACK BABY, YEAH)
Look, Star Wars is in my DNA Tolkien is in my DNA but Dune is my fucking spinal column. I can't think of a more relevant time for this story, and I am so excited to see an adaptation that seems like it's truly to the spirit of the books for the first time. And goddamn it's pretty
